We now have nine dancers: a real side!

Hello World!

This is the new blog spot of the Chalford Stick Company Morris Dancing Side. We formed in 2008 with a handful of dancers, mostly former members of the Stroud Morris mens and ladies sides. We practice every two weeks or so at Woodchester Village Hall in the winter, and anywhere convenient out of doors during the summer (usually St Joseph's School playground, Nympsfield).

Most of us outside the Rose & Crown

L-R: Martin, Jane, Old Pete, Elisabeth, Young Pete

We are based in and around the Stroud Valleys.

Contact: Old Pete

Appearances in 2011:

29 April: Woodchester Village Green, around 15:00
1 May: Rodborough Common, dancing at dawn
Others to be organised....
3 September: Nympsfield Village Fair (tbc)
